  • Namrata Shah, MD, FACOG

    Dr. Namrata Shah has been practicing Ob/Gyn for over 25 years. Under her visionary leadership. Essential Women's Healthcare was founded in 2009. Dr. Shah is proud to say that EWH sets the standard for cutting edge technology combined with unsurpassed patient care. 

    Dr. Shah completed her Ob/Gyn training at the Prestigious New York Hospital in New York. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG) and Board certified in Ob/Gyn by the American Board of Ob/Gyn. She is also Board certified in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She is a Clinical Instructor and Faculty Attending at Rutgers RWJ Medical School. Dr. Shah is highly skilled in the care of Pregnant and High risk patients, and has delivered over 5,000 babies. She has one of the lowest cesarean section rates (11%) as compared to the national average of 32%. Dr Shah is also and accomplished surgeon and has done over 5,000 Gyn Surgeries including Minimally Invasive Surgeries.
